Mild Blue CheeseGarlic Bread

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup butter, softened

3 medium-sized cloves of fresh garlic, minced

3 ounces crumbled Whey Cool Kitchen Mild Blue Cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

1 loaf unsliced baguette or French bread

2 ounces crumbled Whey Cook Kitchen Mild Blue Cheese

PREP:

In a small bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, 3 ounces crumbled Mild Blue Cheese and chopped chives.  Set aside.

Slice bread in half horizontally.  Take each half, open-side up and from the top, cut 1-inch-thick slices, leaving slices attached at the bottom.  Place on baking pan or heavy-duty foil.  Spread cheese mixture liberally on each half.

Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.  Remove from oven and top with 2 more ounces of Mild Blue Cheese Crumbles and let melt onto hot bread.  Serve immediately and enjoy!
