Creamy HavartiGrilled Cheese

with Pickles and Bacon



2 slices bacon

2 slices bread (we love sourdough!)

1 tablespoon butter, softened

Dill pickle slices

2-3 ounces Whey Cool Kitchen Creamy Havarti, shredded


Cook bacon in a cast iron or non-stick skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels.

Lightly wipe out skillet with a paper towel (ok to leave a little bacon love behind!) and butter one side of each slice of bread.

Place bread butter-side down on work surface. Top with bacon, shredded cheese and pickle slices. Top with second slice of bread, butter-side facing up. 

Cook in the same pan as the bacon over medium heat, flipping every couple minutes until bread is lightly toasted and cheese is melted.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
